This was a great weekend!!! First it started out Friday morning Gavyn decided he wanted to go skiing, and the way he figured he would do that would be to put maxi pads on both feet!!! LOL!!! It was hysterical!! This kid is so creative, and cracks me up all the time with his creativity!!
Gavyn also got a new ride this weekend, his cousin Zachary gave him his John Deer truck since he grew out of it. Gavyn loves driving it around!!! He begs me now all the time, "ride my car please!!" - He is really talking good now, saying short sentences and repeating EVERYTHING he hears!
Oh and the outfit he is wearing he picked out all by himself- this was a first that I let him actually leave the house in, but I figured since it kind of matched that he could wear it. He not only wore it but received LOTS of compliments at church; what can I say, my son has style just like his daddy :)
Michael's parents surprised us and came into town at the last minute; it is always bitter-sweet to see them, because they only stay for such a short time :( It was pretty much a 2 Dinner trip, but it was fun!!!
Ifyou look close enough to the above picture you will see the highlight of my weekend!!! That's right! I chopped 14 inches off my hair!!!! I was able to donate it to Locks of Love and that is what really made me take the plunge! I have wanted to cut my hair for a year now but my hair was too damaged and not long enough, i finally had grown out most of the damaged hair and it was finally long enough to donate. So once I realized that I could do it for a great cause and it will grow back then I took the plunge!!! 14 inches lighter and loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!
